From Drama to Scandal
I look forward to having a housemates to add spice to life. How ever I never expect the spice to be in this manner (this show that you must be specific when you wish for things). Housemate is a 19 year old SYT*. Fresh out of school looking for further education in Lion City. Moved in on 20th November and 4 days later my landlady barge into my room, close and lock the door. Got me shocked! Landlady want to complain about housemate to me. What? After 4 days of moving in already got complaint? Landlady cannot 'tahan' housemate's lifestyle. Apparently she :-
a. Dress too skimpily.
This one I can vouch for. I often complain my youngest wear too short, too low, too everything. This one, more geng. Almost like not wearing already. If her shorts are any shorter, they will be called underwear. Her skirts.. no need to mentioned already. Anyway this are all my landlady's complaints. It's of no concern of me if she want to display her assets every where she goes.
b. Throw things on the floor.
My landlady who cleans her room also, have to pick up all her discarded clothes, which is all over the floor. I don't believe so 'kua cheong' until my landlady open her room and show me. Mind you, her room is slightly bigger than mine but there is no wall space left ( all hanged with clothes) and I almost cannot see any floor space. Strewn all over with clothes and other unidentified objects. How many clothes can one person wear? Worse is I saw she put her glass of cold water on top of the Mac laptop.
c. Don't greet people
There is chinese saying ' go in temple pray, go to house, must greet people'. Apparently new housemate never greet any of the house members. Well she doesn't greet me nor smile at me despite several attempts of me being cordial. It doesn't bother me, but landlady took offense.
Now everyday, my landlady got something new to complain. *faint* .. Landlady said she tired to instruct the housemates of the proper ethic.
She asked me how come same kampung ( yes she is from the same town as me) can breed so different people. How am suppose to answer to that? My standard answer is always, house breeding. Cannot be helped and asked my landlady don't get so worked up over it. You are not the mother, can't do anything. And to proof my point, the mother, who came over to stay for 2 days was caught walking around naked in the house by no other than my landlady. Landlady caught her going to the toilet dressed in just her G strings. When she saw landlady, she just put her arm across her b.r.e.a.s.t.s. Landlady naturally got shocked lar, so the mum is banned from staying in the house already. Scandal right in front of my doorstep.
So for those who have kids, teach carefully lor. For mum who don't read my blog, I hope I made you proud :)
